The '''general policy''' is a set of important rules that the contributors and staff member must follow before they edit on the wiki. This is an overall guideline that can help contributors warn one another when they are breaking the rules listed below. * Do not harass one another through articles or through talk pages. There will be a high change that the contributor or staff member will get banned for 5 minutes to cool off.
* DoIt notis prohibited to addplace fan theories in the articles or in the trivia section, ofas thewell articlesas own opinions. They will be removed from the wiki as they aredo not contain accurate information.

{{SITENAME}} do not accept contributors with a uncivil behaviour and ones that do not follow our guideline even if the contributor is new to the wiki. However, we do want to learn new contributors the basic steps of editing a wiki and that it takes time until they fully understand the coding. {{SITENAME}} does not accept contributors that use vulgar language and racial slurs as they will be banned in an instant and invinite due to being uncivil. {{SITENAME}} accepts everyone by their race, age, religious believe, sexual preferences and sex. Fan theory and having sexual fantasies about a character or Yo-kai is extremely prohibited and will result in a ban that can lead to invinite. We want to create the best source of ''Yo-kai Watch'' as possible as we are focusing in providing the best information for ''Yo-kai Watch'' fans in details as possible.
Due to problems on our other host with Yo-kai Watch World, we do not accept their images and information. This is due that the staff of Yo-kai Watch World will harass the wiki to get their right for things they do not completely own. They go as far going to discord servers or twitter accounts of the wiki to have "their images" taken down from the wiki or to source the images of the wiki. We do not want to source images linked to a site that are harassing and calling us untrustworthy and even watermarking images that are not owned by them but by Level-5. Despite being in the wrong, it is best not to take images from Yo-kai Watch World due to those reasons.
Any contributors that upload fan art or sensitive images will be banned. However, if contributors upload fan art they will receive a regular warning which can sum up to three warnings with the last one being the final warning and will get banned from contributing to the wiki. However, if a contributor uploads sensitive images and sexual slurs and texts will not receive three warnings but an instant ban which is directly invinite and that will not be revoked and will also not be discussed about as the talk page of the contributor will be locked as well. Keep in mind the situation you are in if you upload them to the wiki.
