: I'm sorry to break it to you like this, but I can't give you administrative rights or customize the theme for you. It feels a bit like a "play my game or it won't be any different" method. Any help is certainly welcome, and I completely understand you and also agree that the wikia does not really provide good information or no information at all, that you want to find another platform to make that a reality. But unfortunately we are not going to give you the rights or change the theme. You are completely welcome to contribute to this wiki, that's no problem, in fact any help is welcome. : TheAt onlythe reasontime when I asked is because at least personallythat, I'm havingwas troublebeing findingdumb theand optioncouldn't wherefigure Iout canhow to create a page, so. I assumedknow thehow permissions just didn't exist orto somethingnow. It wasn't my intention to do a complete takeover, if that's what it sounded like, unless I misunderstood and multiple people couldn't have admin permissions, in which case I apologize. Just with how the wiki looks, Iit'm havings a little hard timefor figuringme outnavigation-wise,(Text howand tobuttons navigateare orpretty createsmall pageson the UI, dead links, (Like the Discord link is expired) etc.) as opposed to other Miraheze wikis. And I also realize from your POV, I'm just some random guy who suddenly came in asking for admin stuff, so that's a bad move on my part. Also, just like a brief question: Do you have a Discord? I find talking there easier and better than on a wiki, if that'd be okay with you. If not though, that's fine. From, Light8227
:: There are no stupid answers on this wiki and it's not stupid of you if you can't find it to create a page. This wiki is still a work in progress and I want to make it perfect compared to the wikia that looks abnormal. Thank you for fully understanding that I don't just give administrator rights to anyone who asks me to. I come from a very bad history where people tried to help me and therefore asked for administrative rights to help me better, but they abused it to completely take over the wiki and throw me out, as if in a revolutionary idea, unaware that wikia/ fandom is all about the money for free workers, not just for server costs but in general. Maybe your intentions are good, but it's good that you understand why I refuse it. It is understandable that it is difficult to navigate this theme, but with time it can be fine. But you are always welcome to help keep this wiki thriving. I have a Discord that I no longer use, unfortunately we can't talk on it. ::: Ah, I see. I'm really sorry to hear that. I wasn't sure if you noticed or not, but I set up a page for Jinpei Jiba from Y School Heroes with links to pages to do that I'll likely focus on for now. I'd prefer it if you had a Discord account to talk more in-depth, but if you don't want to, that's fine. My Discord username is the same as my username here, if you ever want to reach out or something. I just find wiki pages less easier to talk on. I'll definitely get around to contributing some more stuff. Oh, I'm not sure how this would be done, but something to do with the Main Page would be also be cool. I can't edit it myself, but putting something on there would be nice, at least in my opinion. From, Light8227
:::: unfortunately I'm not a discord person. you can simply add articles, they will be changed and improved over time. the main page is still being worked on. I'm learning some coding to make the main page look a little better, which is what most wikis use now. I just don't have a complete grasp of how that is done, but with time it will eventually get better. KidProdigy (talk) 13:34, 8 December 2023 (UTC)

Game Navigation Template
Hello again! This is a very minor thing right now, but I was curious if you could add Yo-kai Watch Jam: Y School Heroes: Bustlin' School Life to the Game Navigation Template. (https://yokaiwatchwiki.com/wiki/Template:Game_navigation) It released in 2020, and it would be classified as a side game I believe, as the Yo-kai Watch Jam prefix was meant to refer to spinoff games. Attempting to edit it tells me I can only view the source, so I assume I don't have the permissions. From, Light8227
:I'll add it later today, thanks. KidProdigy (talk) 14:15, 13 December 2023 (UTC)

Yo-kai Watch 4/Y School Heroes Game Data Templates
Hey! Probably one of my last questions/requests(?) regarding pages. Recently, I've been getting into the game data for Yo-kai Watch 4 and Y School Heroes, but these games are a little different than 3DS regarding stats and the like. They have more stats than the 3DS games. Just to be safe, I'll be listing all aspects of stats and the like if you make a new template or something.

Yo-kai Watch 4 introduces what I called 'Resistance' in my translation, which is essentially just Defense but for magic moves. Think like Def./Sp. Def. in Pokemon. It also has YP, which is usually consumed when attacking. Speed is also now a tiered stat, consisting of Very Slow, Slow, Normal, Fast, or Very Fast. Something to note about the numbered stats is that they have Minimum and Maximum stats for up to Level 99 for the main game and Busters++. (Stats for Level 1 and Level 99.) There are also stat areas for Level 120. So in a template for stats, a Level 1/99/120 section would be needed.

Yo-kai Watch 4 also has all Yo-kai and humans split into Busters-esque categories, being Watch Masters, Attackers, Tanks, Shooters, and Healers.
Additionally, it also has the option to manually increase stats separate from leveling up or via Equipment, where you can pour up to 100 points into any stat of your choosing for Yo-kai.
Yo-kai also have what I called 'Favorite People,' which are essentially Watch Masters they prefer to fight with to get a boost in all stats during combat. Favorite People can be manually changed or expanded later, so maybe default Favorite People could be something notable on a template.

Yo-kai have 2 Attitudes: A Loafing Attitude and a normal Attitude. Loafing Attitudes consist of Clumsy, Carefree, Stiff, and Serious. Normal Attitudes consist of what I called Short-Tempered, Violent, Calm, Disgusting, Reliable, Show-Off, Kind, and Devoted. Normal Attitudes can be changed completely and seem to be random, and Loafing Attitudes can be made a little better, but not everyone can be improved to Serious. Because of this, I'm not sure what place they'd have, but something to note, at least. Watch Masters do not have Attitudes.

Watch Masters and Yo-kai both have Attributes that they are Strong against and Resist. The Attribute list is slightly different from past games. Fire, Water, Lightning, Earth, Ice, and Wind return, but two new Attributes return, which I called 'Light' and 'Dark.' There are also moves that deal non-Attribute damage.

The Tribes for Yo-kai are the same as in Shadowside: Goriki, Onnen, Mononoke, Tsukumono, Uwanosora, Omamori, Mikakunin, Mikado, Izana, Oni, Wicked, and Shinma.
Yo-kai and Watch Masters can all equip two kinds of Equipment: Weapons and Armor. You essentially have one slot to boost either your Strength or Spirit, and another slot to boost either your Defense or Resistance. Souls as they were known in past games, via Soulcery, do not make a return in Yo-kai Watch 4.

On the topic of Souls, that's how you befriend Yo-kai. All Yo-kai have a befriending 'recipe' of sorts. This typically is just the 3 tiers of their Soul, being White, Red, and Gold, but some Yo-kai ditch one of these Soul tiers in favor for an item. When you have the required items, you can select from 3 different options, all with differing Attitudes, levels, and stats. Additonally, there are also what the community has coined 'Gold Tag Yo-kai,' where Yo-kai being befriended have a fourth option that is colored gold, has a higher level, and their name appears gold in Busters++. The option to befriend Gold Tag Yo-kai unlocks if you encounter one in a battle.

Yo-kai and Watch Masters have a set Y attack and Soultimate that you cannot change. Watch Masters have a ZR move, which I called 'Yo-ki Drain,' which allows them to drain enemy Yo-ki to gain YP, since they don't auto-regenerate YP like Yo-kai do. Both also all have up to 4 X moves that you can cycle through in battle. Yo-kai have a massive list of X moves gotten via leveling up or acquired by default, while Watch Master X moves are acquired through Watch Skills or ones gotten by default.

All Yo-kai have "transformation-type" Soultimates. Ones that can transform into Shadowside or Godside forms transform into those when pressing X+A for the first time, with the second X+A press activating their Soultimate Move. Yo-kai that can't transform like that instead use Great Change, but retain the second X+A press activating their Soultimate Move. Watch Masters have unique Soultimate Moves, with almost all of them having 2 Soultimate Moves to choose from. Cole Tsukinami has Possession Summon, Nate Adams has what I called 'Party Morph (Attack)' and 'Divine Friend Summon,' Katie Forester has what I called 'Party Morph (Heal)' and 'Spirit Friend Summon,' Summer Adams has what I called 'Party Morph (Defense)' and 'Oni Princess Awakening,' Bruno Arihoshi has Celestial Summon, and Jack Cobbler has what I called 'Youthful Vigor' and 'Warlord Summon.'

Finally, all Yo-kai and Watch Masters can go up to Level 99 in the main game, and have a separate Busters Level that also goes up to 99. With the 4++ DLC, the level limit can also be expanded to go up to Level 120 for the main game, but the Busters Level still has a Level 99 limit.

I don't know for sure how this template would go, but I personally believe sections with user-inputted moves/descriptions would be best, as there are just too many moves, Soultimates, etc. to define in one template.

Y School Heroes has no playable Yo-kai, and you instead only play as the main group of humans. 3 new stats are introduced, which I called 'Atk. Power,' 'Def. Power,' and 'Mentality.' Atk. Power and Def. Power seem to be the total combination of stat bonuses from your Equipment, instead of just adding it on your base stats. I'm not 100% certain on what Mentality does yet. Lastly, there is a hunger meter that decreases your stats a little when empty, so you must eat food to recover HP and/or fill the meter. Unlike 4, there is no Minimum/Maximum stat section, so for the stat template section, it would just be Base Stats.

Y School Heroes has much more Equipment options than any other game by far. First, there are 3 weapon slots. These are not for being able to increase your Strength or Spirit three times, but you can switch between 3 sets of weapons. In short, only one is applied at one time, depending on which weapon set you apply in battle. These weapons also influence your Y and X attacks. The Summon Medal slot lets you equip an Onryo or Yo-kai Medal to fight alongside you in battle. They cannot be manually controlled. There are 5 separate slots for Equipment that affect your Def. Power, but unlike weapons, these aren't set exclusive, and all take effect no matter what. I called these different slots 'Head Armor,' 'Body Armor,' 'Accessories,' 'Special Items,' and 'Outdoor Items.' It also goes without saying that different weapons, armor, or Summon Medals can also have additional bonuses. Finally, there are 2 Food slots, so you can equip Food to either restore HP on a moment's notice or fill your hunger meter.

Once a character has gotten a YSP Watch, they unlock the ability to transform into Yo-kai Heroes. Yo-kai Heroes also have 5 Equipment slots in the form of Item Medals and Command Medals. Item Medals are for their basic attack, where you can switch out different Medals for stronger attacks. Command Medals are like special moves that have a cooldown that you can also switch out. Both Medals can also have additional effects.
Every party member has a number of Academy Jobs they can set. Each Job has differing sets of levels and effects unlocked as you level them up.

Finally, there are Clubs, Job Boards, and Student Cards. You can form alliances with around 300 Clubs to gain different buffs. You can get Student Cards from the various students by completing certain tasks, and every Student Card has a ranking of 1 up to 5, and ranking up a Student Card involves performing another task for the student. You can then set Student Cards on Job Boards to get daily rewards.

I think this template would also benefit greatly from having user-inputted areas. There's a huge amount of Medals, Equipment, Food, etc. that you can use on a character to document. I'm not sure if there's any info I missed on either game, but if I do, and it needs to be on the wiki, I'll come back for sure. If you need any further explanation, I'd be happy to do so.
: That is indeed something that is incredible! In my opinion. However, I cannot work on a template without a visual representation, it'll be difficult for me to be a bit creative as I am revamping most of the templates and upgrading them. I'll be doing these things due time, but a wikitable can be used for now until I add more functions and create new ones. :: If by visual, you mean as in in-game screenshots of what it looks like, I'm not exactly sure how to do it. If that's the problem, I could just compile some screenshots in a drive or something and send you the link?
::: Yeah, then I can visualize the template. Info can always be send as a document if you got the time for it, or even are willing :D. The way you can create a screenshot is, if using the Switch, is just to press square button on the left joy-con. ::: What you have done with the Coins page is also a good way, then I'll be able to create templates for it and organize it well. KidProdigy (talk) 20:18, 4 January 2024 (UTC)
:::: Alright, cool! I think these screenshots can give you a good idea of what I mean, but if you need more, just let me know. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1jYo0hG-lqDaIKcg2NppKuKfwutY6w0By?usp=sharing And yeah, I had a system in mind for the coins page, it's just hindered by me not having other coins/games on the page right now lol
:Thanks! I'll be working on it. For the coins, I'll find a way. KidProdigy (talk) 12:30, 6 January 2024 (UTC)
