The three protagonists [[Natsume Amano]]], [[Touma Tsukinami]] and [[Akinori Arihoshi]] from the [[M04|fourth movie]] started a Yo-kai Detective Team to investigate Yo-kai activities in their town. Natsume Amano's younger brother [[Keisuke Amano]] is shown as well.

The Yo-kai Watch animation series will enter a Shadowside Arc on TV Tokyo starting on April 13 with the final episode airing on March 30.
CoroCoro Comics revealed new information about the Yo-kai Watch series revealing the "Shadowside Project". According to the magazine, there is a game in development, an new animation series will air and new merchandise are in production.

During the North American version of Nintendo Direct on April 12, 2017, they've revealed the debut of Yo-kai Watch 2: Psychic Specters. The game is known in Japan as Shinuchi and will be released in the Fall of 2017.

Yo-kai Watch Wiki will be revealed for every contributor from the Discord channel and Wikia platform as well on our twitter social media account yokaiwiki. This wiki is meant to create content from the ground-up with the first heavy project the Yo-kai Watch video game. Please do follow this pattern when it will open on May 23, 2018.
The wiki has a different design touch compared to the original and standard design. Currently in progress are finilizing the policy outlines as well tagging and categorizing images that have been uploaded to the wiki.
