== Design ==
Summer Adams has the appearance of a young girl with a pale skin color, dark brown colored eyes and brown braided hair which is similar to her [[Lucy Adams|great grandmother]] in her younger years. She was first shown in ''[[M04|Yo-kai Watch Shadowside: The Return of the Oni King]]'' with her school uniform, that consists of a blue blazer with yellow buttons beneath a pale yellow vest with gray lines and a white shirt with a pink bowtie wrapped around her collar. She wears a black skirt and black kneesocks with brown loafers. During the summer period, she doesn't wear her blazer or her pale yellow vest with gray lines, but she wears a white t-shirt that consists of a pocket on the left side of her chest and white buttons, with the t-shirt being tucked into her skirt. Natsume also sometimes wears a blue jacket with brown buttons.

She is also seen wearing other clothing in her leisure, as seen in ''[[SS001|Phantom Gangleader]]'' where she wears a t-shirt with red sleeves that contains white stripes and the body being white colored with a black-colored heart symbol that represents her mother Katie when she was younger. She also wears blue ripped short jeans with the inside being light blue. Below she wears black socks and red colored sneakers. However, in ''[[SS002|The Bicycle Ridden by the Dead]]'', she is seen wearing a liberty colored sleeveless shirt with blue stripes with below a red skirt with white sandals. In ''[[SS003|Red Head the Plunder Demon]]'', She wears a red short sleeved vest with a white colored bowtie logo that is open from beneath and closed together on the top, and beneath her vest she wears a short sleeved white-colored skirt with the collar being rigged. Below she wears white socks and red colored ballerina shoes.

After the events in ''The Return of the Oni King'', Summer first appears in ''[[SS001|Phantom Gangleader]]'', where she is seen leaving her home to go to the [[Yo-kai Detective Agency]], not noticing that her [[Keisuke Amano|younger brother]] is following her. After arriving at the agency, she learns about the Phantom Gangleader and after she discovered that her younger brother was following her, she, Cole, and Bruno leave the agency to find the Phantom Gangleader. After they have found him, she summons Jibanyan, and alongside Slimamander, the two fight the Phantom Gangleader. After the Phantom Gangleader leaves, they arrive at a park where she was trying to summon a Yo-kai to aid help to the Phantom Gangleader until her watch floats off to [[Keisuke Amano|Tate]]. She gives Tate's Keystone and tells him to summon Komasan and tells him to unlock its Shadowside. After the defeat of the unindentified Yo-kai, the next day at school, Summer's class receives a [[Sakami Haruya|new student]].
